Description:
Engineering, design review, construction,
commissioning, operation and training of
new, completely operational, soft start
systems and motor controls for nine pump
motors at the Dokan-Sulaymaniyah Dam. The
system will include all necessary connections,
controls and cabling for a complete soft
start system for these pumps for 3 pump
stations. The system is designed and manufactured
by German Company MOCOTECH. The system contains
the following:

Staff
details: A site office with highly
experienced engineers and technicians managing
the site activity was established. Outside
Iraq, offices supported the project by purchasing
equipment. The Irbil and Germany offices
both supported vital administration and
correspondence needs. The site staff was
entirely comprised of locals from Dokan
& Sulaymaniyah, 80 of skilled and unskilled
workers, a total of 10 engineers, 15 technicians
and 8 administrative support staff were
all part of the successful performing of
this project.
