Project name: Feasibility Study of the Three Hydropower Plant in Kurdistan Regional Government . Client: Kurdistan Regional Government-Ministry of Electricity POC: Mr. Hama Amin Hawramany, hawramany1@yahoo.com Description: The project is preparing Feasibility study of the three hydropower plant in Kurdistan regional government, this include the following: 1. Preparing the surveying works for Dam and reservoir sites, including the following: All Surveying works shall be provided in three sets of drawings in suitable scale with one electronic copy including calculation & analysis of data. 2. Hydrological study. 3. Hydraulic study. 4. Geological & Geo - physical Survey. 5. Geo-technical Study. Staff details: In addition to the DANUBE Highly qualified staff, DANUBE participant the works with three of Italian experience companies, Studio Galli Ingegneria (SGI), Studio Pietrangeli (SP) & AI Engineering (AI). Overall capacity, comprehension of needs and quality of the services The Consortium (hereinafter also the Consultant) is in the best position to respond the tender requirements and is confident that it can deliver an output that meets MOE-KRG expectations. With respect to the overall capacity to meet the MOE-KRG expectations, the Consortium has put together a multinational and multidisciplinary team of professionals, which give an added value to the work in terms of significant specific experience. The main features that make the consortium suitable for this specific assignment are: - top level experience in the study and design of dam and hydropower projects, with more than 146 dams and 39 large hydropower projects completed. - Remarkable recent references in pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for large hydropower projects having completed studies for No. 6 large plants totaling more than 12000 MW in the years 2007-2008 Remarkable recent references in all the engineering services for hydropower plants having four large plants under construction / completion totaling more than 3000 MW. - High multidisciplinary expertise provided by the project team in the fields of dam and hydropower, geology, geotechnics, hydrology, hydraulics, civil works, electromechanical/electrical works etc. - Large experience by all the partners in the management of complex international projects. - Capacity to ensure prompt operation in the Kurdish region, through SGI local office and staff and through the local partner Danube Group. - Extensive network of consultants and experts with an established relationship with several private / public stakeholders and bodies in the Middle East area. - Deep knowledge of the local situation thanks to our involvement in several projects the country in the last years.
